BSLA - Welcome!

BSLA100The Boston Society of Landscape Architects is the oldest chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects, founded in 1913. BSLA is one of the largest chapters in the nation with members throughout Massachusetts and Maine.

Governance is by an elected Executive Committee and Committee Chairs and hundreds of volunteers actively serve on committees and task forces. BSLA advocates on behalf of the profession and provides networking, professional development, and social events for members and allied professionals. BSLA supports the student chapters in three colleges and annually awards up to three scholarships. Check out our Calendar of Events for more details.

Grab a bike near your home, our office, or a transit hub, and pedal your way to work or to the next lunch meeting, errand, or shopping trip.

Membership costs BSLA Members  only $37.50 to get started (compare to the regular $85 annual fee), and all rides under thirty minutes are free. If you are already a member, go to your account and see "Change Membership Type."

Once you're a member, simply take any bike, ride for as much or as little as you like, and return your bike to any Hubway station. There's even a Spotcycle app that provides a map of available bikes and docks.
