BSLA’s Digital Tools Committee presents An Introduction to 3D Modeling Using SketchUp.

Please join us on Tuesday October 18, 2005 for an informative evening with dinner and socializing.

Jeff Alexander of Symmes Maini & McKee Associates will lead us in an overview of the capabilities and techniques of this powerful software used by architects, landscape architects, interior designers, and set designers. SketchUp is a tool that allows the designer to create 3D images from 2D CAD graphics, even in the conceptual design stage. The images can be used for client presentation, or for internal design review. It is amazingly simple and intuitive, and affordable to boot.
