THE ANNUAL BSLA CELEBRATION GALA is returning to the Royal Sonesta and will be on Thursday, April 28. During the Reception at 6:30 pm you'll have opportunity to meet with our suppliers. April 27 (Wednesday) - 10 am to 12 pm, Newton Marriott - Lunch included. Steve King, Chairman of Landscape Structures Incorporated, for a presentation entitled, "The Design & Development of Modern Playgrounds". Topics will include playground design, managing the risks associated with public playgrounds and new materials that are becoming available for use on playgrounds.

Steve King is a landscape architect and ASLA Fellow. He first developed the concept of "continuous play" as a college thesis more than thirty years ago. He correctly reasoned that by linking many play elements into a single structure one could improve the nature of play and child development.

Cavicchio Greenhouse Open House
Please join us on Friday, April 29th at 10:00am. Paul Cavicchio will take you on a tour of the greenhouses, show you our state-of-the-art planting machine, perennial yard and tour will conclude at our 35 acre nursery on Lincoln Road ending with a picnic lunch, weather permitting. We are excited to welcome you and show you all we do.
