Hello

There are two great BSLA events coming up this month - the Public Speaking Leadership Workshop and the discussion on Invasive Plant Species.

We look forward to seeing you there.

Thursday, March 2
Public Speaking Leadership Workshop

Brought to you by the BSLA Emerging Professional Committee

All landscape design professionals and students are welcome

6:00 pm
Harvard Graduate School of Design
Stubbins Room
48 Quincy Street
Cambridge, MA 02138

There are better ways of overcoming the fear and stress of speaking in public than imagining everyone in their undergarments … but it takes practice!

Bill Eubanks, ASLA, of Seamon, Whiteside & Associates, Inc. and Susan Hatchell, FASLA, of Susan Hatchell Landscape Architecture & Park Design PLLC, will be guiding interested participants through a series of interactive exercises aimed to improve public speaking skills. This workshop is designed to cover the fundamentals of speech preparation and delivery to help professionals become better spokespeople and overcome the fear of public speaking.

Refreshments will follow the workshop. Please RSVP by Monday, February 27, by email to info@BSLAweb.org or by phone at (508)620-5018.

Thursday March 23, 2006
6:30 to 8:00 pm
BSLA - March Program - Invasive Plant Species

The Arnold Arboretum of Harvard University
125 Arborway
Jamaica Plain, MA 02130-3500

Please join the Boston Society of Landscape Architects for an informative discussion on new invasive plant species regulations and the effects that they will have on the profession.

All are welcome to attend. Light refreshments will be served following the discussion. Please RSVP by March 21st at 508.620.5018.
