BSLA Firm News New Chinatown Park Opens on Boston's Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Greenway November
1-3, 2007 The Waterfront Center's 25th annual international conference on waterfront planning, development and culture will be held in Boston, Massachusetts at the Seaport Hotel. The
conference offers nine panels of three presenters each giving registrants
a choice of three sessions on Friday morning, Friday afternoon and
again on Saturday morning. In addition keynote presentations will
take place at the opening and closing of the conference. A conference
highlight is the announcement on Friday afternoon, November 2, of
the 2007 "Excellence on the Waterfront" award winners
for built projects, comprehensive plans and grassroots citizen's
efforts, selected by an interdisciplinary jury. This year's 21st
five-person jury is headed by Chris Carlson, Senior Design Fellow,
University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, Minnesota. Cut off date for an early conference registration fee and for a special

Seeking Creative, Dedicated Landscape Architects We are seeking creative, dedicated landscape architects to lead and work on these and other projects. Open positions include a licensed landscape architect with a specialty in construction; a Project Manager with a specialty in design and client leadership; and a project landscape designer who wants to construct the work he/she designs.
